Java Help On the last page you should see a form for doing database searches. This will only work if you are online. If you are connected to the internet but still didn't see this then:
you may have a browser which can't deal with Java - for example older browsers (Netscape 4 and above, MS Explorer 4 and above and Opera 4 and above should be Java compliant - so see next point). The whole of the GFA database is also available in list form on these pages:
Products which are GM Free to GFA Standards Products which are not or cannot be guaranteed GM Free Details of Nutritional Supplements
Or... you may have Java switched off. To switch it on see the details for your browser below. (This information is for general guidance only, and you may find that it will vary slightly for different browser versions):
Netscape Navigator MS Internet Explorer for Windows MS Internet Explorer for MacOS Opera
Netscape - Click on the Edit menu, and choose Preferences. Click Advanced and make sure that the Enable Java box is ticked.

After checking or changing your java settings you'll have to reload the database. If you still can't see the form then check the lists on the pages (see above).
MS Internet Explorer on Windows - Choose the Edit menu then Preferences. Go to Java and make sure that the JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled box is ticked.

After checking or changing your java settings you'll have to reload the database. If you still can't see the form then check the lists on the pages (see above).
MS Internet Explorer on MacOS - Choose the Edit menu then Preferences. Go to Java and make sure that the Enable Java (Apple MRJ) box is ticked.

After checking or changing your java settings you'll have to reload the database. If you still can't see the form then check the lists on the pages (see above).
Opera - Click on the File menu, and choose Preferences. Click on the Plugins option on the left hand side. Make sure that the Enable Java box is ticked. If it is greyed out, then Opera hasn't found Java on your computer. The easiest way of getting Java is to download Opera again, making sure that you choose the version with Java.

After checking or changing your java settings you'll have to reload the database. If you still can't see the form then check the lists on the pages (see above).
